Washington County is home to the Cities of Hartford and West Bend which offer small town living along with high tech businesses. The villages of Germantown, Jackson, Kewaskum, Newburg, Richfield, and Slinger offer a blend of rural living coupled with a business friendly atmosphere. The following country towns, Addison, Barton, Erin, Farmington, Germantown, Hartford, Jackson, Kewaskum, Polk, Trenton, Wayne, and West Bend offer expansive farmland and vistas to compliment your visit in the country.

Within minutes from Metro Milwaukee, Madison and Green Bay, and only a few minutes from Lake Michigan, Washington County is home to an auto museum, a bell museum, a variety of restaurants offering casual to elegant dining, a regional art museum, and various sporting events.  In addition to an array of attractions you can find specialty shops ranging from antiques to specialty cheese, clothing to sporting goods stores, quality lodging, wildlife and numerous lakes.

Breathtaking vistas from Holy Hill, hidden places, antiques and treasures make Washington County a great place to visit. Many events are held at Washington County Fair Park, conveniently located in the middle of the county and home to an expanding convention center. If you are here for a weekend visit, you can enjoy a peaceful moment at one of our many WCCVB religious organization members.

No visit would be complete without a moderate to challenging hike into the sunny park areas of the Northern Kettle Moraine for some soul searching refreshment. Most of our cities, towns, and villages offer parks and recreation areas, in addition to our County and State parks designed for your summer or winter outdoor enjoyment.  Activities abound throughout the year at our Washington County Fair Park. The park boasts 133 acres of fun.

12 - Jackson Historical Society Annual Raspberry Fest
