Over 400 acres of peace and beauty! A landmark of Wisconsin and listed on the National Register of Historic Locations. Pilgrims walk the half mile outdoor Way of the Cross with 14 groups o life-size sculptures representing the Passion of Jesus. Others pray at the Lourdes Grotto. Thousands of visitors climb the 178 steps to the top of the observation tower inside one of the Church spires for an unparalleled glimpse of the dramatic rural surroundings. here is a full weekend Mass schedule and daily religious services. Special seasonal events occur throughout the year, including a live Nativity, uplifting religious concerts, and a popular Arts & Crafts Fair. St. Patrick Church of Erin was build in 1855 by Irish immigrants. Even though the parish was officially closed in 1999, special Masses are still held in this beautiful historic Church. The grounds consist of the church, two cemeteries with burials dating back to 1850 and a rectory. The St. Patrick Preservation Fund, Inc. was established in June of 2000 to protect, sustain and maintain this historic church in the Town of Erin.

Wisconsin’s largest auto museum, featuring a display of classic, vintage automobiles and artifacts! Included is the Hartford manufactured "Kissel" (1906—1931). Other exhibits are dedicated to the Nash and Hudson Esses Terraplane, in addition to over 90 other rare vehicles, such as Reos, Pierce-Arrows, Pontiacs, Studebakers, Chevies and Ford.

Built in the 1920's, this architectural masterpiece is the largest freestanding facility of its kind in the state of Wisconsin and has been painstakingly renovated to restore its original grandeur. The Chandelier Ballroom continues to delight thousands, offering the most elegant surroundings for receptions, conventions and private parties. Throughout the year the grand ballroom hosts numerous events from big band swing to rock 'n roll to classical to polka.

Park your wheels in Dheinsville and travel back in time. German immigrants of the Hunsruck Mountain region founded this hamlet. Today all 22 of the original structures remain. The Germantown Historical Society now occupies the Christ Church Museum, the shoemaker’s house and the fire hall & barn. Stroll through a one-block area full of ethnic and historic flavor. You’ll step into the original haus of Valentine Wolf Shoemaker, a rare example of German half-timber fachwerk. The Christ church Museum (c.1862) includes changing exhibits of local history & historic cemetery dating back to 1848. Also you’ll get a chance to visit the Sila Lydia Bast Bell Museum, as well as the country gift store and information center.

You will marvel at the 5000+ bell collection from Sila Lydia Bast. Bells collected from all over the world are displayed in a restored barn that dates back to 1870. The museum is nestled in the heart of historic Dheinsville, where you can see the 1,063 pound bell atop of the original silo-made-bell-tower. Keep strolling through Dheinsville to experience a unique ethnic history & it’s exhibits.

Museum of Wisconsin Art

Founded in 1961 and located in the heart of West Bend's Cultural District, this 21,000 square-foot museum showcases the best historic and contemporary Wisconsin art. Home to the state's finest collection of early Wisconsin art from 1800 to 1960, the MWA has a special emphasis on the work of Milwaukee-born painter Carl von Marr (1858-1936). The unrivalled permanent collection is supplemented annually by over twenty temporary exhibitions which focus on the work of historic Wisconsin artists such as Santos Zingale, Robert von Neumann, Emily Groom and Charles Thwaites. Contemporary artists are also exhibited in the prestigious One from Wisconsin solo exhibition series and group shows such as All Fired Up: Contemporary Wisconsin Ceramics. The MWA houses the Wisconsin Art Archive which is the state's largest and most comprehensive resource on Wisconsin art and artists. Another favorite exhibit is the Walter A. Zinn Doll House - a delightful hand crafted dollhouse begun in 1911, which includes seven hundred miniature items collected from around the world.

West Bend Friends of Sculpture have set their goals to stretch art beyond its usual boundaries by providing sculptures that echo the riverscape and emphasize West Bend's greatest assets. Take pleasure walking, jogging or biking the 2.5 miles of trails along the Milwaukee River in Riverfront Parkway, and enjoy the ten or more sculptures laced along the way. Capture the spirit of the community that is expressed by public art.

One of the only places in the United States where one can see fourteen Famous Clydesdale close up and personal.  A truly exciting, entertaining, and fun 90 minute guided tour with a short grandstand show.  Included in the show is the newest mascot Mac Gregor, a great Scottie dog.  Also don't for get to visit the Clydesdale museum, Clydesdale gift-shop, and to pet and take pictures of the rare BABY Clydesdale.
